Compared to other berry oils, organic cranberry oil has a balanced spectrum of fatty acids. No other oil has the same distribution of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
Cranberry oil is obtained from the seeds of the fruit by mechanical cold pressing.
The cranberry grows as a shrub, evergreen, with white and pink flowers. The fruits whose seeds are used to produce the organic oil are red and cherry-sized.
History
Cranberries are native to North America, particularly the northeastern regions of the United States and Canada. Native American tribes traditionally used them in their diet for their medicinal properties. Later, European settlers discovered the benefits of cranberries and began using them in their cuisine.
The connection between fruit oils and salads is known worldwide. Try new, original tastes by adding organic cranberry oil to salads, soups, yogurts, or desserts. The fruity aroma of organic cranberry oil accompanies them, bringing an extra taste.
In addition to organic cranberry oil, we also offer cranberry flour.
