Eucalyptus essential oil is one of the world's best known remedies for treating respiratory ailments. Many remedies for respiratory ailments contain eucalyptus essential oil because it has beneficial effects on the respiratory system. Its properties help soothe spasms, eliminate excess secretions and reduce inflammation.

Eucalyptus essential oil has a strong antibacterial effect. When used in aromatherapy and topical application, various bacterial strains are combated. Use is also recommended for partial impetigo disease (bacterial skin disease with large eczema), which is very severe in children. In the same way, eucalyptus essential oil acts against fungi (fungicidal action). Candida infections caused mainly by fungi of the Candida strain are treated by application.

Eucalyptus essential oil has a strong anti-inflammatory effect and is used as an inhalation, tamponade, infusion and oil bath. Eucalyptus essential oil also acts as an anti-rheumatic and may have a positive effect in arthritis (inflammatory joint disease). Because of its germicidal properties, eucalyptus essential oil is regularly used to treat bruises and other skin problems. Another beneficial effect is that it purifies and freshens the air, combats mental fatigue, promotes concentration.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light.

Before using a cosmetic product it is advisable to carry out a test on a small part of the skin at least 24 hours before application; avoid contact with eyes; keep out of reach of children.
